Acupuncture
Our integrated approach incorporates both research-based and time-tested treatments combining Chinese medicine, acupuncture, naturopathy and functional medicine. Rather than taking a traditional disease-centered focus, we address the underlying causes of disease using a patient-centered approach addressing the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.
Physical Therapy
As a primary caregiver, a physiotherapist can assess, diagnose, and treat your injury through a combination of methods that may include: manual therapy; manipulation; acupuncture; modalities such as ultrasound, laser and heat; and/or exercise prescription. Education plays an important role in physical therapy. The goal of physical therapy is to return you to your optimal function and strength, while educating you about your injury. This allows you to independently maintain a healthy body without the constant supervision of a therapist.
Clinical Pilates
Participate in our clinical pilates group classes as part of your rehab.
Massage Therapy
Registered Massage Therapists are health care professionals committed to restoring and maintaining optimal health and pain-free function of the body. They are educated and trained to accurately assess and treat with techniques that include massage and manual therapy, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy, and rehabilitative exercise such as stretching, strengthening, postural exercise and patient education.
Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing power of the body and treat the underlying cause of disease. Symptoms of disease are seen as warning signals of improper functioning of the body, and unfavourable lifestyle habits. Naturopathic Medicine emphasizes disease as a process rather than as an entity.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
Counselling / Psychology / Mental Health
